Frances Lunsford

Frances Greenlee Boyd Lunsford, age 91 of Rison, passed away peacefully July 6, 2022 at The Greenhouse Cottages in Rison.  She was born April 2, 1931 in Cleveland County, AR to the late Lee Albert and Iliff Sadler Greenlee.  Frances enjoyed spending time in her flower gardens and could make anything grow, she was blessed with an amazing green thumb.  She loved visiting with her family, friends and going to church when she could.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, JC Boyd and Joe Lunsford, brother, Albert Greenlee, and sister, Faye Spakes.

She is survived by her sons, Jim Boyd (Vickie) of Calmer, Richard Lunsford (Margaret) of Tyro, John C. Boyd, Jr. (Cindy) of Star City, daughters Carolyn Courtney and Patricia Booher, sister, Ruby Green of White Hall, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 8, 2022 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison.

Graveside service will be 9:00 a.m., Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Rowell Cemetery in Rison.
