Frances Lindley age 70 of Pine Bluff died, Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. She was born October 2, 1937 in Rison, a daughter of the late Jim and Cora Lunsford McKinzie. Mrs. Lindley worked for Ben Pearson for several years before becoming a Nursing Assistant for Jefferson Regional Medical Center where she worked for five years. She later worked for Pine Bluff Nursing Home for one year. Mrs. Lindley was a private sitter for over twenty years. She was compassionate about her work and enjoyed taking care of others. Mrs. Lindley was very lovable, caring, kind and would think of others before thinking of herself. She was a Christian and loved God very much. Mrs. Lindley was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Jake McKinzie; one sister, Snooks.

Mrs. Lindley is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Darwin and Angie Lain of Sheridan, Michael and Cindy Lindley of Star City; one daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Michael Watson of Pine Bluff; one brother, James McKinzie of Heber Springs; three sisters, Joyce and Wylie Bost of Sherrill, Ludie Rice of Malvern, Virginia Wells of Weatherford, Texas; two grandsons and future granddaughter-in-law, Matthew Watson and Taylor Pullman of Pine Bluff, Joseph Watson of Pine Bluff; two granddaughters, Jessica & Kayla Lindley of Star City; two step grandsons, Chris Fisher of Star City, Jeffery Jacobs of Hot Springs; one step granddaughter, Audrey Lain of Missouri; seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 29, 2008 at Buie Funeral Chapel with Reverend Phillip Hedden and Reverend Ronnie Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Thursday, February 28, 2008 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison. Pallbearers are Chris Fisher, Michael Lindley, Michael Watson, Matthew Watson and Joseph Watson. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in ICU for the care they have given her.
