Frances Ann James Hartman age 71 of Rison, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, January 31, 2024. She was born October 10, 1952, at Davis Hospital in Pine Bluff, a daughter of the late Nickey and Kathleen Green James. Frances graduated from McGehee High School and continued her education, receiving an Associates of Applied Science Degree from Rasmussen College. She passed her registry becoming a registered Health Information Technician (RHIT). She was a Medical Records Director for Wilbarger Hospital in Vernon, Texas before moving back to Arkansas. She loved Elvis, the NFL, Tom Brady and WWE Wrestling. Most of all, Frances loved her children and grandchildren. She attended Providence Missionary Baptist Church. Frances was also preceded in death by her husband, Dan Hartman; siblings, Sandra Nolen, Virginia James, Pattie Sue Chism and Albert James.
Mrs. Hartman is survived by her children, Jeremy Routhier (Joshua) of Troy, New York, Felicia Matthews (Warren) of Loganville, Georgia and Sean Hartman (Lori) of Rison; grandchildren, Kalyn Matthews, Callie Matthews, Ryder Hartman and Avery Hartman; sister, Wanda Leopard (David) of Rison, and a host of family and friends.
Per Frances’ request, no services will be held. Memorial may be made to St. Jude’s Children's Hospital or Providence Missionary Baptist Church, c/o Donna West, 5212 Camden Cutoff Rd, Pine Bluff. Ark, 71603.
