Floyd Carroll Oliger age 69 of the Woodlawn Community died Sunday, May 18, 2008 at his home. He was born February 23, 1939 in Ferda, Arkansas, a son of the late E. F. Buck and Wilma Bryant Oliger. Mr. Oliger was a bus driver for the Woodlawn School District. He was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Oliger was preceded in death by his parents and twin brother, Harold Oliger.

Mr. Oliger is survived by his wife, Helen Coleman Oliger, whom he married on June 6, 1959 in Pine Bluff; one son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Velvet Oliger of Woodlawn; one daughter and son-in-law, Carol Ann and Phil Rogers of the Calmer Community; one sister and brother-in-law, Reba and Max Livingston of Little Rock; one uncle and aunt, James W. and Maxine Bryant of White Hall; six grandchildren and spouses, Elizabeth Rogers Stacks (Joe), Rebecca Rogers Richardson (Bryan), Hannah Rogers, Jacob Rogers, Brianne Pettit, Leslie Oliger; and one great granddaughter, Julieann Stacks.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Jackie Richardson and Brother Joe Stacks officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison. Pallbearers are J. E. Greenlee, Burl Kimbrell, Chuck Valentine, Richard Taylor, Tom Brown and George Law. Memorials may be made to Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 5990 Highway 63, Rison, Arkansas 71665. Arrangements are under the direction of Buie Funeral Home of Rison (870) 325-6216
