Eugene Dixon

Eugene Red Dixon, age 75, of Sheridan died Friday, November 13, 2009 at his home. He was born November 28, 1933 in Grant County to Josephus Dixon and Flocy Jones Cotton. Mr. Dixon was retired after working many years in several different industries. His occupations were from working in construction to working as a heavy equipment operator with Jimmy Rogers Company in Little Rock. There wasnt much he couldnt do, including cutting firewood for the community. Mr Dixon was preceded in death by his father, Josephus Dixon.

He is survived by his mother, Flocy Cotton of Sheridan; seven nephews, Bobby Dixon, Bobby Dixon Jr., Michael Brewer, J.L. Kilburn, Dale King, Adrian King, Ricky Brown; five nieces, Tammy King, Shana Brown, Tara Brown, Sonya Dixon, Kimberly Dixon.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at Camp Creek Cemetery in Sheridan with Brother Odell Lindsey officiating.
