Ethel Mae (Veorster) Daniel

Ethel Mae Veorster Daniel, age 84, of Kingland passed away on Monday, March 30, 2020 at Pine Bluff Regional Medical Center. She was born May 4, 1935 in Ulm, Arkansas to the late Arthur and Susie Margaret Davis Veorster Ramsey. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, George Albert Daniel, her step-father Jack Ramsey, one daughter, Shirley Marie Roth, and one son, George Leslie Daniel, grandchildren, Trinity Ann Schwab, Christina Roth, John Roth,   two great-grandsons, Braden Roth, Dylan Ray Schwab, two brothers, R.G. “Horseshoe” Veorster, Paul Reese Veorster, two sisters, Ella Margaret Vance and Annie June Kustuin . Mrs. Daniel was a faithful member of Kingsland Methodist Church, she also was a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked as a rehabilitation assistant, a loving grandmother to many children she babysat. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Patricia Ann Lewter and husband David of Malvern, Dorathy Sue Sonder of Malvern, Deborah Lee Lockhart and her husband Wayne of Humphrey. Siblings, Clara Marie Lusk of Ulm, Goldie Merle Ivanovski of Kingsland,  Henry Arthur Veorster and wife Shirley of Kingsland, Evelyn Julia Lane of Humphrey, grandchildren, Terry Root and wife Amanda of Abilene, TX, Joshua Root and wife Regina of Wichita Falls, TX, Mark Roth and wife Jessica of Fordyce, Seth Roth and wife Robin of Parker, CO., Tommy Bryant and wife Annie of Little Rock, Savannah Scwhab and wife Kari of Humphrey, great-grandchildren, Mazzie Delores Root Edwards and husband William of Fort Worth, TX, Willow Faith Cowan, Ivy Rain Root, Riley Moon Root, Winter Storm Root, Warren, Evelyn, Nevaeh, Jeanne, Crystal, Scarlet Roth, Olivia, C.J., Chandra Roth, Chelsea Roth, Gabriella “Gabby” Roth, Lydia Ashton Saffel, Jaden Criddle, Mileah Dawn Isom, Eli Mann, Lilly Mann and loving friends and neighbor Bruce and Betty Wilks.

Graveside services will be 12:00 p.m., Saturday, April 4, 2020 at Kingsland Cemetery.
