Ernest Ray Smith

Ernest Ray Smith, age 66, of Sheridan passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021. He was born Jul 28, 1955 in Dumas, Arkansas to the late Allie Lee Smith, Jr. and Iva Eugene White Smith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Johnny Smith. Mr. Smith was a retired diesel mechanic and truck driver, he also enjoyed fishing, playing the guitar and the upright bass. He was always willing to lend a helping hand.

He is survived by his two sons, Michael Smith (Bobbi), Christopher Smith (Mary Dunn), one step-daughter, Melissa Chwalinski-Gordon (Courtney), and three grandchildren.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan (870) 325-6216.
