Eric Franklin Rhodes

Eric Franklin Rhodes, born on October 9, 1961, in Pine Bluff, passed away on December 12, 2024. He was a vibrant character whose presence lit up any room he entered. Throughout his life, Eric was known for his engaging spirit and passion for the things he loved.

A devoted father, Eric is survived by his two sons, Dylan Rhodes and Aaron Moody. He shared his joy for life with his grandchildren: Wyatt Hunter, Jasper Rhodes, and Magnolia Rhodes, who brought immense happiness to his days.

Eric's family also includes his beloved long time girlfriend Alyssa Meusel and siblings: brother Carlton "Butch" Rhodes Jr., sister Janie Burton, and sister Judy Rhodes. Together, they forged a family bond rooted in love and cherished memories that will continue to resonate long after his passing.

Eric's interests were as dynamic as his personality. He had a penchant for horse races and was a steadfast supporter of the Arkansas Razorbacks. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlton and Bonnie Rhodes, who undoubtedly shaped the remarkable man he became. Their legacy lives on in Eric and the family he leaves behind.

As we remember Eric Franklin Rhodes, let us celebrate the joy, laughter, and love he shared with all who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed but always remembered in the hearts of his family and friends.

There will be a small family gathering December 14, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. for those wanting to attend.
