Eric Marcus Abeyta

Eric Marcus Abeyta, age 26, of Smackover, a loving father of four and cherished son, went to be with his Savior Friday, March 27, 2015. Mr. Abeyta was born December 4, 1988 in Eldorado, a son of George Abeyta and Susan Dalton Abeyta. He served as a Specialist E4 in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Iraq War. Mr. Abeyta was a hardworking millwright with West Fraser at Huttig and of the Baptist faith. He was a proud father and loved spending time with his family. Some of his favorite hobbies were barbequing, fishing and spending time outdoors. Mr. Abeyta was preceded in the death by his grandfather, Weldon "Peck" Golden; grandmother, Marquitta "Pat" Dalton. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, George and Susan Abeyta of Smackover; two sons, Chance Abeyta, Damien Abeyta both of Smackover; two daughters, Skylyn Abeyta and Zoee Abeyta both of Smackover; his loving fiancee, Samantha Miller of Smackover; brother, Patrick Abeyta of Smackover; Sister, Kelsey Abeyta of Smackover; grandparents, Bruce and Bobbie Dalton of Conway, Carol Golden of Kingsland and a host of Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Buie Funeral Home. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at the funeral home with Reverend Gerald Perry and Reverend Shane Matthews officiating.
