Emma Christine Rogers

Christine Rogers age 88, of Pine Bluff died Sunday, December 14, 2008 at the White Hall Nursing Home. She was born October 7, 1920 in Grady, a daughter of the late Charles Martin Krueger and Lou Ella McLemore McEntire. Mrs. Rogers was a retired LPN and was of the Baptist faith. She was also preceded in death by her husband Veo Rogers; daughter, Catherine Rogers Pierce.

Mrs. Rogers is survived by her son-in-law Jesse Pierce of Pine Bluff; two grandsons, Bryan Pierce of Pine Bluff, Gordon Pierce of Dallas, Texas; and three great grandsons, Justin, Joshua, and Gabe Pierce.

Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at Mt. Zion Cemetery near Rison with Mr. Jesse Pierce, Mr. Bryan Pierce, and Mr. Gordon Pierce officiating. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 901 North University, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205. Arrangements are under the directions of Buie Funeral Home of Rison.
