Elvis Lee Vaughn

Elvis Lee Vaughn, age 79, of Searcy, went to be with his Lord on July 17, 2024. He was born in January 25, 1945 in Searcy to the late Arthur “Pete” Vaughn and Leona Pryor Vaughn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Doris Vaughn, Wesley Vaughn, Agnes “Sis” West, Wayne Vaughn and LD Vaughn. Mr. Vaughn graduated from West Point High School, later graduating from the University of Central Arkansas, where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. He spent his career farming and did some CPA work in the off seasons.  He was a faithful member of Cloverdale Church of Christ, a volunteer Fireman with the West Point Fire Dept. and served on the Natural Resources Conservation Service Board.

He is survived by his loving wife Adell Treat Vaughn, his daughters, Kelley Rose and her husband Scott, and Stacey Vaughn, his grandson, Wil Rose and his wife Alyssa of Madison, AL; his granddaughter, Riley Rose Mayo and her husband Tyler of Searcy; his great-grandson, Tauren, Teagan and, Tristan Mayo all of Searcy; and great granddaughter, Hadley Rose of Madison, AL; siblings, Helen West of Benton; Layne “Boss” Vaughn of Searcy; and Joyce Vaughn Bates of Farmington, MO.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 20, 2024, with memorial services following at 2:00 p.m. at Cloverdale Church of Christ in Searcy.
