Elsie Katherine (Carson) Hawkins

Elsie K. Hawkins, age 85, of Sheridan went to be with her Lord on February 15, 2018.  She was born February 27, 1932 in Sheridan, Arkansas to the late William and Elizabeth Carson.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Martha Hall, Brenda Burlison, and Jimmy Cotton.

She is survived by her two sons, John D. Bridges of White Hall and James D. Bridges of Buffalo, New York, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Frankie Cotton, Jimmy Cotton, James Cotton, Sean Pitt, Brandon Pitt and Billy Sean Holbert.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 19, 2018 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in South Marlow Cemetery.
