Elmer Joe Weith

Elmer Joe Weith, age 88, of Redfield went to be with his Lord on December 4, 2020. He was born August 14, 1932 to the late Fred and Ola Weith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nora Ann Weith, one son, Ronnie Weith, and one brother, Arthur Weith. Mr. Weith was a United States Army Korean War veteran, and was a member of Lone Pine Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Weith retired from 3M and was a retired school bus driver for Sheridan, he also served as a volunteer Fireman for the Hensley Fire Department and was a member of The American Legion Post 1000.

He is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Hudson (Anthony) of Elgin, AL; Christe Small (David) of Sheridan; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Estelle Harper (Frank) of Levittown, PA; and Bonnie Jones (Wesley) of Hensley.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan with Bro. Ronnie Meredith officiating. Interment will follow in Orion Cemetery.
