Elda Annie Neal

Elda Annie Neal age 86, formerly of Rison, AR., died Wednesday, March 19, 2008 in Texarkana, Texas. She was born August 7, 1921 in Warren, a daughter of the late Fred and Mary Elizabeth Tubbs Boldebook. Mrs. Neal was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Robert Neal, one daughter, Mary Peters; one son-in-law, L. D. Peters; two sisters, Bessie Adair, Rozell Brown.

Mrs. Neal is survived by one son, Bobbie Ray Neal of Traskwood; one daughter, Frances N. Izard (Donny Cole) of Texarkana, Texas; one sister, Betty Robertson of Malvern; one grandson, Robert DeWayne Peters of Rison; three granddaughters, Becky Fleming of Crowley, Texas, Cindi Riley of Haskell, Desi Neal of San Antonio, Texas; nine great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; host of nieces and nephews; good friends, Pat Nance of Texarkana, Texas, George and Judy White of Homebound Ministries, First Baptist Church, Moores Lane, Texarkana, Texas. The family thanks Dierksen Hospice of Texarkana for their loving care and friendships made over the last months.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 22, 2008 at Buie Funeral Chapel in Rison with Reverend Don Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Moores Church Cemetery near Rison. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, prior to service. Memorials may be to Dierksen Hospice, 4217 Texas Blvd, Texarkana, Texas 75503.
