Edward Earl Joyner

Edward Earl Joyner of Prattsville, AR passed away December 15, 2022 at his home, at the age of 72.  He was born March 12, 1950 in Augusta, AR to the late Edward “Earl” and Lillie "Louise" Joyner.  Ed enjoyed riding horses, raising cattle, and watching his grandson, Austin, grow up. In his last few years playing and spending time with Aubrie kept him occupied, he found great joy in being her Pop.  Ed was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church in Prattsville and was a United States Marine veteran.  Ed was a caring husband, loving grandfather, and good friend to many.  Although he will be missed, he has joined those he loved in his heavenly home.

In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia Ann Summers Joyner, sister, Sydney Fitzgibbon, and his grandson, Austin Joyner.

He is survived by his precious granddaughter, Hannah Anderson, great-granddaughter, and the light of his life, Aubrie Nicole Joyner, his best friend, David Jones, sons, Wayne and Rusty Joyner and many other family and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 23, 2022 at Philadelphia Baptist Church in Prattsville, with visitation 30 minutes prior to the service. Officiating the service will be Bro. Don Goodman. Pallbearers will be David Jones, Don Nixon, Steven Bailey, Kris Anderson, Earnie McElroy and Nic Hunt. Interment will follow in Philadelphia Cemetery.
