Edmund D. Lecroy

Edmund D. Lecroy, age 70, of Sheridan went to be with his Lord on March 6, 2024. He was born April 3, 1953 in Mt, Airy, Maryland to the late William and Barbara Lecroy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Paris. He attended Florida State on a football scholarship, playing for the Seminoles. Mr. Lecroy was a United States Army veteran serving two tours during the Vietnam War. He later worked for Central Maloney for several years. He enjoyed watching movies, fishing with his grandchildren, spending time with his family and watching football with his wife.

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Brenda Lecroy, his children, April, Eddie and Michael Lecroy, Sara Crutchfield and Charlie Lenard, grandchildren, Brendan, Angela and Chance Crutchfield, CJ and Autumn Lenard and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 8, 2024, at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan. Interment will follow in Philadelphia Cemetery.
