Edith Sue Mcclellan

Edith Sue McClellan, age 82, of the Macedonia community near New Edinburg went to be with the Lord, Saturday, December 19, 2015. Ms. McClellan was born December 9, 1933 in New Edinburg, a daughter of the late Johnny Duncan McClellan and Iva Mae Thompson McClellan. She retired from Sykes Flooring Mill and a faithful member of Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church. Ms. McClellan was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Ruth Weaver.

Survivors include her brothers, Thomas McClellan and wife, Helen of Shreveport, Louisiana, Leonard McClellan and wife, Mary of New Edinburg and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services are 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 21, 2015 in Reaves Cemetery at New Edinburg with Reverend Sam Martinez and Reverend Samuel Martinez officiating. Pallbearers are Mark McClellan, Stephen McClellan, Jerry Weaver and Danny Weaver. Arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Rison.
