Edith Gill Brown

Edith Gill Brown, age 99 of Rison, died, Sunday, September 18, 2011at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. She was born April 27, 1912 in Tompkinsville, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Sam Gill and China Wilson Gill. Mrs. Brown was a homemaker and a member of the Christian Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Harold Brown on March 31, 1991.

Mrs. Brown is survived by one nephew, James Carl Gill of Tompkinsville, Kentucky.

Graveside services are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at Greenwood Cemetery with Reverend Glenn Hicks officiating. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Cancer Research, 901 North University, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Buie Funeral Home of Rison.
