Eddie Alan Mosley, 63, mercifully entered into eternal sleep on December 1, 2024. Eddie was born on July 30, 1961, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Richard Edison and Betty Lou Cox Mosley. He lived and went to school in Sheridan, Arkansas and later in life moved to Fort Smith, Arkansas to be close to his children and grandchildren.
Eddie had a larger-than-life personality and an infectious laugh. He loved to live free. In his younger years he was described as ladies' man and a man who did not tolerate rude behavior. He was a "hippie" and a free spirit. He loved music of all kinds especially the Beatles and would be caught frequently "jamming out". He met and later married the mother of his children at a rock concert. He was a collector of treasures that most others would call junk and thought someday he would be rich from the treasures he found. He loved old cars and trucks and taking rides down the back roads to a new adventure. He was very proud of his children and grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father Edison Mosley, a brother, Kenneth Mosley, two granddaughters, Myrikal Johnson and Madelyn Mosley.
He is survived by his children Jeremy (Kaylee) Mosley and Shana (Louis) Mosley Bennett and their Mother Teresa Bean Mosley, Grandchildren Treveon, Abrianna, Dylan, Jazlyn Mosley, Christopher, Camden, Cadyn Johnson. His mother, Betty Mosley and siblings Richard Mosley Jr (Ricky), Kay (J.C.) Chance, Tammy (Tommy) Tolson and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
We will celebrate Eddie's life with a memorial later.
Special Thanks to Covington Court, Indian Rock Village, Ozark Health Nursing and Rehab, Hope Medical Clinic, and Gentiva Hospice for excellent care.
Rest in love.
