Eddie W. Lackey

Eddie Wayne Lackey age 59, of Sheridan went to be with the Lord Thursday, April 4, 2013. Eddie was born September 10, 1953 a son of the late Roy Eddie and Mary Veora (Rambo) Lackey. Mr. Lackey was a 1972 graduate of Sheridan High School, then after formal training he became the owner/operator of Lackey Heating & Air. He was later employed as a technician at Jefferson Laboratories. Mr. Lackey was of the baptist faith, and was a member of Punkin Vine Hunting Club. Mr. Lackey enjoyed hunting & fishing and especially enjoyed spending time with his family and cherished grandchildren. Mr. Lackey was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Stanley Lackey. Survivors include his loving wife, Betty Ann ((Haskins) Lackey of Sheridan; son, Eric and his wife Jennifer of Sheridan; daughter, Celeste and her husband Michael of Sheridan; sons by choice, Ronnie Barber and Daniel Owings; brothers, Roy, Paul and Dale Lackey; grandchildren, Blake Frisby, Jeffrey Lackey and Hunter Lackey; mother in law, Eunice Haskins. Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., Friday, April 5, 2013 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan, Arkansas Funeral Service will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 6, 2013 in the chapel of Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan officiated by Reverend Al Michael, Jr. and Brother Ernest Desoto. Interment will follow the service at Center Campground Cemetery (Prague Community) near Sheridan, Arkansas.
