Eddie Ruth Glover

Eddie Ruth Kesterson Glover age 71 of the Rowell Community near Rison, went to be with the Lord, Monday, January 5, 2009 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. She was born October 5, 1937 at Rowell, a daughter of Hazel Kesterson and the late G. M. Kesterson. She married Rupert Glover on October 21, 1955. Mrs. Glover was a homemaker and former owner of Glover Bible Book Store. She was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher and member of the Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Glover was preceded in death by her father, George Monroe Kesterson.

Mrs. Glover is survived by her husband, Rupert Glover of Rowell; children, Kathy and John Felts of East End, Mike and Tonya Glover of Rowell, Tim and Amy Glover of Bella Vista; mother, Hazel Kesterson of Rowell; sister, Margie Rodgers of Randall; grandchildren, Tasha Glover Williams and Ricky, Brittany Glover Moseley and Joey, Jennilee Felts Berry and Bill, Clint Felts, twins Rolen and Emily Glover and Baby John Glover; great grandchildren, Noah Berry, Austin Berry and Kaylee Williams.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 8, 2009 at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Jackie Richardson and Brother Doney Blackerby officiating. Burial will follow in the Rowell Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday January 7, 2009 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison. Memorials may be made to the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church Ladies Auxiliary, 5990 Highway 63, Rison, Arkansas 71665. Pallbearers are Jimmy Turner, Paul Wright, Lloyd Baker, Tom Brown, Bobby Dixon, Floyd Brown, Kenneth Wooley, Scotty Vinson, Alton Glover, James Jones, Marty Huddleston and Burt Rodgers. Arrangements are under the directions of Buie Funeral Home of Rison.
