Earnest Lee Brown, age 64, of Rison went to be with his Lord on January 1, 2021. He was born May 25, 1956 in Marianna, Arkansas to Ruby Lee Thomas Brown and the late John Earnest Brown. Mr. Brown retired from the National Center for Toxicological Research in Pine Bluff after 41 years of service. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tenisha Brown and his infant son, Earnest Terrell Brown. Mr. Brown was a faithful Christian man, studying the Bible and working with the youth was very important to him. He served as a Deacon with Grace Evangelical Baptist Church in Pine Bluff, he was also affiliated with New Life Missionary Baptist Church in Rison. Mr. Brown enjoyed watching sports and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Janet Roshell Brown, his mother, Ruby Lee Brown, his daughters, Kimberly Brown and Michelle Brown, grandchildren, Te’Lynn Humphrey, Tre’Vion Johnson, Titus Johnson, siblings, Herbert Brown (Brenda), Estella Wilson (Odis), Sylvester Brown, James Brown (Lynn), Chester Brown (Kym), Johnny Brown, Arlene Horton (Bruce), Carrie Giles (Sherman), Shirley Brown, Rodgerst Harris (Dianne), Patrick Walton (Natalyn), and Fernando Smith (Shaquenna).
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 8, 2021 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison with Reverend Bobby Young officiating. Interment will follow in New Cemetery.
