Earlene Harris Price

Earlene Harris Price 94, of Little Rock, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2011. She was born November 23, 1916 in New Edinburg, a daughter of the late Will and Fay Harris. Mrs. Price graduated from New Edinburg High School and Arkansas A & M College. She married Robert Andrew Price on December 7, 1942 and they resided at Pansy. Mrs. Price was a teacher, homemaker and member of the Prosperity United Methodist Church. After her husband's death, she moved to Little Rock and became a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church. Mrs. Price was a loving and friendly person who enjoyed teaching children. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Andrew Price Sr.; daughter, Barbara Sue Brooks; brothers, Virgil and Curtis Harris. Mrs. Price is survived by sons, William Jack Price of Pine Bluff and Robert Andrew Price Jr. of Little Rock; daughter, Elizabeth Washington and spouse Sherman of Wynn; brother, J. T. Harris of Fordyce; sister, Sybil Sharp of Little Rock; grandsons, Johnathan Blair Washington and Eric Ross Washington, both of Wynn. The family wishes to thank Hospice Angels of Pine Bluff with special appreciation to her caregiver, Page and her nurse, Tonia for putting a smile on her face. Graveside services will be 11:30 a. m., Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Pansy Cemetery with Reverend William Paul Woolley officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to service time, at Buie Funeral Home in Rison.
