Burley Dwain Williams, age 81, of Woodlawn died Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. Mr. Williams was born October 19, 1933 in Glendale, a son of the late Holland Williams and Ruth Harris Williams. He was a retired mechanic after thirty-eight years. Mr. Williams enjoyed hunting, fishing, antiquing and Arkansas Razorback football and basketball. He was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Williams is preceded in death by sisters, Elvalee Owen, Laverne Small; brother, Hubert Williams; grandson, Chase Williams; great granddaughter, Gabby Jackson; step-daughter, Lisa Scott. He is survived by his wife, Linda Plumlee Williams of Woodlawn; son, Wesley Lyn Williams and wife, Amanda of Woodlawn; daughters, Sherry Cameron and husband, Dan of White Hall, Dorothy Lemley and husband, Donald of Monticello, Brenda Valentine and husband, Chuck of Woodlawn, Carla Jacks and husband, Steve of Pine Bluff; step-sons, John Beck of Star City, Ben Beck and Tim Williams of Woodlawn; step-daughter, Arlette Billings of Woodlawn; twenty-two grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Graveside services are 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 27, 2015 in Friendship Cemetery at Woodlawn with Brother David Leopard and Mr. Rick Stewart officiating. Pallbearers are Wesley Williams, Rick Stewart, Randy Rauls, John Beck, Tim Williams and Colton Williams. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Friendship Cemetery Association.
