Douglas Edwin Root

Douglas Edwin Root, 66 of Judsonia, Arkansas passed away peacefully surrounded by his family in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born on June 6, 1957 to Edwin Root and Mary Frances Root in Orange, Texas.

He was a member of Pipeline Union 798 for over 40 years. He thoroughly enjoyed the relationships he built with his fellow pipeliners. He was an avid fisherman, and Razorback Fan. He would often cook, play ping pong, darts, and cards with his family and friends. He enjoyed spending time and taking care of his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Mary Frances Root.

He is survived by his brother, David Root, sister, Debbie Baker and husband, Kenny, son, Josh and wife, Sarah Root and one grandson, Theo Root.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Sullivan Funeral Care Chapel in Kensett, Arkansas.
