Donnie Lee Smith

Donnie Lee Smith, age 67, of Hensley passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Arkansas Hospice Home Care in Little Rock. He was born May 29, 1949 in Marble Falls, Texas, the son of the late Elmer Smith and Susie Violet Jeter Smith. Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his wife, Karen Howard Smith.

Left to cherish his memory, son, Chad Smith and his wife, Dana of Redfield; step-son, Abner Kemp of Sardis; step-daughter, Corrina Helms and her husband, Matt of Arizona; brother, Danny Ray Smith and his wife, Kathy of Mayflower; grandchildren, Ethan, Crystal (Arlie), Dustin (Jaime), Tyler, Cody, Colton, Karen (Josh), and Johnathan; and great-grandchildren, Hunter and Leanne.

Graveside services are 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Salem Cemetery in East End with Brother George Yarberry officiating. Visitation is 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, February 17, 2017 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan. Arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan. www.buiefuneralhome.com.
