Donnie Leland Roberts

Donnie Leland Roberts, age 78, of Rison, went home to be with his Lord on Friday, October 14, 2022. He was born April 22, 1944 in Rison, Arkansas. Mr. Roberts served in the United States Army National Guard and retired as head of the Department of Maintenance and Transportation at Rison High School. He was an avid Rison Wildcat Football Fan, and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was also a member of Zion Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kermit and Agnes Hopper, his granddaughter Abbigail Grubb and his daughter-in-law Shelly Roberts.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Sharron Roberts, his children Ricky Roberts and his wife Kim of El Dorado, Donna Grubb and her husband Bruce of Rison, Debbie McBryde and her husband Charles of Odessa, TX, and Brian Roberts of Rison. He is also survived by his grandchildren Scott Grubb, Chase Roberts, Brett Grubb, Matt Roberts, Josh McBryde, Noah McBryde, Anna Beth Roberts, Julie Roberts, Logan Grubb, Vanessa Grubb and great-grandchildren, Tate Grubb, Owen Grubb, Collins Roberts, Chandler Roberts, Rhett Roberts, Leland McBryde, Jett Grubb, Kye Grubb, Ada Grubb and Ella Grubb.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2022 at Greenwood Cemetery with Bro. Brian Roberts, Bro. Scott Grubb and Bro. Charles McBryde officiating.
