Donna Joyce Tucker

Donna Joyce Tucker age 78 of Rison, went to be with the Lord, Monday, June 2, 2008 at the Cleveland County Nursing Home. She was born March 2, 1930 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, a daughter of the late Leopold Norman and Violet Price Hanson. Mrs. Tucker was the co owner of Joes General Store before her retirement, loving mother, grandmother and friend to all, who will miss her dearly. She was a member of Cornerstone Church of God. Mrs. Tucker was also preceded in death by her husband of fifty one years, Joseph Marion Tucker III; son, Daniel Gene Tucker; grandson, Wade Brown; sister, Elva Buck.

Mrs. Tucker is survived by two sons, Joseph Marion Tucker IV of Livingston, Louisiana, Ricky Tucker of Wilmar; two daughters, Joyce Brown of Osakis, Minnesota, Nettie Chase of Haughton, Louisiana; nine grandchildren, Denton Stanley, Shannon Boots, Mike Brown, Shawna Morris, Joseph Tucker, Jenny Guthrie, Kenneth Chase, Seth Tucker and Jessica Chase; eight great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 7, 2008 at Cornerstone Church of God Church with Reverend Jonathan Hall officiating.
