Donald Edward Hunter

Donald E. Hunter, age 73 of Sheridan, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at St Vincent Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born November 21, 1938, to the late Cole Davis Sr. and Mollie (Joyner) Davis. Donald was married to his loving wife Linda for 32 years. He was in Insurance Sales for many years, and was a member of Hope Pentecostal Church. Donald loved sports and coached softball with his brother Cole for many years. Donald was a family man and loved his family dearly. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother Larry Davis. Donald is survived by his loving wife, Linda (Rundell) Hunter of Sheridan; four sons, Jeff Hunter and Wayne Valentine of Sheridan, Keith Hines of Damascus, and Keith Valentine of Lake Charles, La.; one daughter, Delena Bradford of Benton; two brothers Cole Davis and Butch Davis of Sheridan; two sisters, Linda Whitaker and Irene Scott of Sheridan; fourteen grandchildren, one great grandchild and one that will be born soon, also a host of other family and friends that will miss him dearly. Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., Friday April 13, 2012 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan, Arkansas. Funeral Service will be 2:30 P.M., Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Hope Pentecostal Church in Sheridan, Arkansas with Brother Raymond Derrick and Brother Carroll Taylor officiating. Interment will follow the service at Lost Creek Cemetery, Sheridan, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Dale Hale, Mike Stephens, Bill Fiser, Carl Smith, David McVay, Wayne Hall, and Dewitt Smith.
