Don Carlos Cagle, 70, of Searcy, formerly of Orting, Washington, passed away June 27, 2019 at St. Vincent’s Infirmary in Little Rock. He was born October 4, 1948 at Henderson, Tennessee.
Mr. Cagle graduated from Cotton Plant High School and enlisted in the Army, serving for 15 years. After leaving the military, he worked for the Washington State Soldier’s Home. He loved to cook, watch movies and collect key chains from his travels.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Cagle, Jr.; and two brothers, Lamar and Roger Cagle.
He married Donna Thomas Cagle August 19, 1972 at Pierce County, Washington; she survives. He is also survived by his mother, Rachel Seaton Cagle of Kensett; two sons, Casey Cagle of Orting, Washington and Corey Cagle (Kristina) of Searcy, Arkansas; three sisters, Mary Munnerlyn of Kensett, Sylvia Sweeney (Brad) of Alexander, Arkansas, and Sheila Stacks (Shane) of North Little Rock; as well as several extended family and friends.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 1, 2019 at Sullivan Funeral Care with funeral services at 11:00 a.m. in the Sullivan Memorial Chapel with military honors. Cremation will follow at the Ascension Crematory.
