Diana Denise (Cureton) Foster

March 15, 1958 — January 5, 2021

Bald Knob

Diana Denise Foster, 62, of Bald Knob passed away at Unity Hospital January 5, 2021.  She was born March 15, 1958 to the late Loyd Cureton and Joan Amour Cox at Waukegan, Illinois.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stoney Foster.  They were married 27 years before his health failed him and he passed away April 26, 2016.
There are many wonderful stories the family remembers as they come to terms with Diana’s passing.  They remember her as a loving mother, “sis”, and grandmother who enjoyed each moment she was able to spend with her family.  They also remember her feisty spirit and that she was a force to be reckoned with.  She spoke her mind, but it was always with love and the best intentions.  The Judsonia Community will remember her as their favorite breakfast grill cook, who just happened to make the best gravy in the area.  Some customers would even ask if she was the cook before placing the order…if she was not doing the cooking, they were not ordering biscuits and gravy.
Diana was a huge Elvis Presley fan and collected memorabilia for years.  She loved his music and his movies… through all stages of his career.  She also loved to listen to Conway Twitty… just maybe she was his “Hello Darlin”.  Between Elvis and Conway, John Wayne was a close third and she enjoyed watching his western movies.  She was quite an eclectic soul.  It must be said that along with her favorites, you could list a love of Cadillac cars.  This she picked up from her parents love of the vehicle brand.  Her family will miss her more than they can express in words.  She loved and was loved; that is what is called a beautiful life.
Her spirited energy is left to carry on in the hearts of her sons, Allen Everett (Daphne) of Pleasant Plains, Chris Everett (Shalon) of Bald Knob, Jacob Everett (Louisa) of Bald Knob; daughters, Tina Turpin (Jeff) of Judsonia, Joanna Everett of Kensett; grandchildren, Ally Grace, Madison, Bethany, Alexis, Erin, Blakely, Zachary, Anna, James, Weslee, Chailee, Easton; great grandchildren, Aubrey, Mia, Carsyn, Charleigh, Everlee, Ella Blake, Oliver; brothers, Ray Cox (Penny), John Cox (Nena), Joey Cox (Brook), Buddy Cox (Candace), Loyd Cureton (Diane), Curt Cureton (Dana); sisters, Patricia Bryant, Patty Smith (Don) Belinda Hoyle (Jerry); step father, Buddy Allen Cox; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family.

Visitation will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday January 9, 2021 at Sullivan Memorial Chapel with funeral services to follow at 3:00 p.m., also at Sullivan Memorial Chapel.
