D.H. Kimbrell

D.H. Kimbrell, age 86, of Rison went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, October 20, 2022. He was born November 5, 1935 to the late Sylvester Newton Kimbrell and Virgie Payne Kimbrell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Margie Kimbrell, his son, Stevie Kimbrell, his siblings, R.C. Kimbrell, Leon Kimbrell, Grady Kimbrell, Hughey Kimbrell, Gene Kimbrell, Billy Joe Kimbrell, Estelle Works, and Delores Williams. Mr. Kimbrell was a United States Army Veteran and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also a retired mechanic and auto body repairman.

He is survived by his siblings, W.A. Kimbrell and his wife Martha, Birdie Simms and her husband J.P., Carmon Walls and her husband Ed and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Monday, October 24, 2022, at Buie Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Walls and Bro. J.P. Simms officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Prosperity Cemetery.
