Delores Kimbrell Williams

Delores Kimbrell Williams, age 79, of Kingsland passed away September 26, 2021. She was born July 9, 1942 in Warren, AR to the late Vess Kimbrell and Virgie Payne Kimbrell. Mrs. Williams was retired, but enjoyed her career working with her brother at Gene Kimbrell Body Shop. She was of the Assembly of God Faith, and was a loving, faithful Christian woman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Leon Kimbrell, Hughey Kimbrell, Grady Kimbrell, RC Kimbrell, one sister, Estelle Works, a granddaughter, Lauren Renay Williams and two great-granddaughters, Hannah Marie Parnell and Alaina Michelle Evans.

She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 58 years, Larry J. Williams, Sr. of Kingsland, one son, Larry J. Williams, Jr. (Jennifer) of Kingsland, one daughter, Celeste Gibson of Fordyce. She is also survived by seven grandchildren who lovingly called her Mamoo, Bradley Williams (Lauren) of Kingsland, Jessica Williams (Matt Howard) of Kingsland, Jana Attwood (Jared) of Rison, Dylan McCarty of Kingsland, Robert McCann (Brooke) of Monticello, Amanda Ray of Fordyce and Ricky Ray of Fordyce, fourteen great-grandchildren, Layne Howard, Eric Howard, Emerson Williams, Wesley Williams, River Williams, Hadleigh Attwood, Natalie Garrett, Cade McCann, Chase Cole, Hayden Cole, Chevi Stephens, RJ Stephens, Jase Aud and Ricky Lee Ray, Jr, brothers and sisters, Gene Kimbrell (Emma), Birdie Simms (JP), Carmon Walls (Ed), Dub Kimbrell (Mott), and Dee Kimbrell, numerous nieces and nephews, and sister and brother by love, Alice and Dave Holland.

Pallbearers will be Bradley Williams, Robert McCann, Dylan McCarty, Michael Kimbrell, Jeff Works and Robert Godwin.  Honorary pallbearers will be David Lewis, James Lewis, Matt Howard, Jared Attwood and Tony McGough.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison.  Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison, with interment to follow in Prosperity Cemetery.
