Debra “Debbie” Morrow was born to Garland and Edna Thrasher on April 22, 1958. She was the baby of eight children.

Debra attended Eureka Senior High. She was a member of Miracle Deliverance Holyness Church in Mossville, Louisiana.

She met and married the love of her life, Malry Morrow Jr and to this union, two sons were born, Jason Thrasher and Malry Morrow III. She gained a daughter Keisha Morrow.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Malry Morrow Jr and her parents, Garland and Edna Thrasher, four brothers, Wayne Buxtan, Steven Buxtan, Kenneth Thrasher, and Larry Thrasher.

Nanny as Debbie was called by her family and friends and MawMaw by her grandkids was a loving and bright soul. She made everyone feel at home with a southern home cooked meal.

She leaves to carry on her memory, Jason “Christy Thrasher, Malry Morrow III and Keisha Morrow a loving granddaughter. She raised as her own Courtney “Emeril” Mahaffey and nine grandchildren, Blayne, Torrey “Leilan Sol” Robinson, Jason “Buddah” Thrasher, Jr, James, Terrell, Joseph, Jennifer, Derkesha, Dericka Morrow, and Tyser Meserve, thirteen great grandchildrens, six surviving siblings, Gene Brown, Linda Robb, Tim, Dennis, John Grant, and John Thrasher.

Four goddaughters, Andrea “John” Harris, Mary “Robert” Deboest, Carena Tate, and Donna Prudhomme, and a very close Best Friend, Penny Ardoin.

A host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
