Debra Jean (Decker) Mobley

November 22, 1959 — December 30, 2017

Debra Mobley, 58, of Pangburn, went to be with the Lord December 30, 2017 at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston following a brave battle with cancer.  She was born November 22, 1959 at Mexia, Texas to the late William and Estella Moore Decker.
She attended Bradford High School and the Gateway Technical College where she received her LPN training.  She was a member of Step Rock Church of Christ and a devoted Christian and prayer warrior.  She was a selfless, loving, and caring person who always thought of others.  Throughout her brief battle with her disease, she never gave up hope and was a fighter until the Lord took her home.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandmother who raised her, Hazel Decker Jordan.
She married Wendell Mobley December 3, 1976 at Kensett, Arkansas; he survives.  She is also survived by two daughters, Leah Ann Strickland (JJ) of Watford City, ND and Amanda Tharp (Gerick) of Pangburn, Arkansas; grandchildren, Ty, Halle, Jalen, Linlee, Bella, Landon, and Griffin; one brother, Billy Decker (Jan) of Bluford, Illinois; as well as a host of friends and family.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Sullivan Funeral Care in Kensett.  Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Kensett First Baptist Church with burial following at Henderson Cemetery in Pangburn.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to all those who have supported them throughout the months during this trying time.
