Debra Ann Bowman, 67, of Kensett, AR passed away on December 24, 2021. She was born September 25, 1954 in Bald Knob, AR to the late Ocleters and Eddie B. Pettis. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Arnold Tabernacle CME Church in Kensett. She was an active and dedicated member of the church, where she loved to sing in the choir.
Debra was preceded in death by her son, Marshall “Tank” Pettis; her parents; her grand-mother Earnestine Edwards, and brother, Cortez Pettis.
She is survived by her son, Travis Bowman, and daughter, Veronica Bowman; her grandchildren, Miracle Williams, Kavaris Bowman, Zakiayah Good, Madison Pettis, Savannah Braswell, Michael Good, Braylon Bowman, and Oquoieah Earl; great-grandchildren, Peyton and Kayden Bowman and Bella Scrip; sisters, Patricia Pettis, Netra Washington (Howard), Jeanne Murry (Larry), and Cassandra Nellum; and brothers, Lee Pettis (Pamela), Ocleters Pettis, Jr., Floyd Pettis, Sr (Sandra), Theopolis Pettis (Gloria), Marshall Pettis (Cherie), Jimmy Pettis (Valerie), Arthur Vance (Debra), and Barry Brown; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Sullivan Funeral Care. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Arnold Tabernacle CME Church with burial following at Crow Cemetery.
