Deborah Johnson, 67, of Searcy, passed away March 23, 2022, at UAMS in Little Rock. She was born November 14, 1954, in Centralia, Illinois to the late Floyd and Jessie Jean Hodges Elliott. Deborah was a 1972 graduate of Centralia Illinois High School. She was a longtime member of Downtown Church of Christ in Searcy. Her passions and hobbies include photography and riding motorcycles with the love of her life. She was also a talented artist and owner of Red Suit Studios. She enjoyed visits and trips with dear friends. Above all, she cherished time with family, her grand dogs, and being the best Gabbo to her grandkids.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Dianna Henry.
She married Floyd Johnson on June 25, 1977, in Centralia, Illinois; he survives. She is also survived by three children, Michelle Organ (Mike) of Nolensville, Tennessee, Kyle W.E. Johnson (Mary K) of Mt. Vernon, Arkansas, and Billie Jean (BJ) Connally (Matt) of Anadarko, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, McKinley and Mia Organ, Elliott and G.W. Johnson; four sisters, Pam Boettcher (Ron), Susan Miller, Mary Beth Hake (John), and Sara Turner (Shane); as well as numerous nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
The family will have a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 25, 2022, at Downtown Church of Christ with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Special Olympics, which was an organization she loved working with and was dear to her heart.
