Dawn Lee McCraw

Dawn Lee McCraw's life was cut short Saturday, October 5, 2019 during a visit to Denver, Colorado at the age of 38. Dawn was born on May 20, 1981 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Steve Thompson and Robin Birkhead. She was a graduate from North Little Rock High School. She leaves behind four loving children to cherish her memories, Rickey III age 18, Harlie age 16, Amos age 14, Austin McCraw age 8 all of Austin, Arkansas; the father of her children, Rickey McCraw II of Austin; father, Stephen Thompson of Vilonia; Mother, Robin Birkhead (Ray) of North Little Rock; three sisters, Jessica Birkhead of North Little Rock; Nova Birkhead of North Little Rock; Christina Thompson of Vilonia; fiance, Richard Clark of Little Rock. She is preceded in death by her brother, Kevin Birkhead. The family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at Vilonia Funeral Home Chapel 1134 Main Street Vilonia, AR 72173. A graveside service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Vilonia Cemetery with Pastor Jay Burns officiating. Pallbearers will be Amos Lee McCraw, Joseph Wesley Cook, Richard Clark, Rickey Lee McCraw II, Rickey McCraw III, Randy Bradley, honorary pallbearers are Dylan Trentman and Robert Sorenson.
