David W. Kimbrell

David W. Kimbrell, age 63 of Rison, died, Friday, May 31, 2013. He was born May 1, 1950 in Rison, a son of Carol Dean Brown Kimbrell of Rison and the late Alex Howard "Budzoo" Kimbrell. Mr. Kimbrell was a graduate of Dollarway High School. He retired from Lennox Air Conditioning after thirty five years of service. Mr. Kimbrell enjoyed the outdoors and hunting; and was a member of Rose Hill Hunting Club. He loved spending time with his grandson, Carsen. Mr. Kimbrell was a member of Trinity Faith Assembly of God Church. He was also preceded in death by an infant brother, Harley Dee Kimbrell. Mr. Kimbrell is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Alex and Brooke Kimbrell of Humphrey; mother, Carol Kimbrell of Rison; step daughter, Rhonda Swinford of Stuttgart; three brothers, Mack Kimbrell of Pine Bluff, Len Kimbrell of Malvern, Steve Kimbrell of Harrison; five sisters, Jearldean Anders, Janie Stuart and Diana Walker, all of Pine Bluff, Sherry Norris of Plano, Texas, Mary Allen of Hooks, Texas; one grandson, Carsen Lee Kimbrell. Funeral services will be 11:00a.m., Monday, June 3, 2013 at Trinity Faith Assembly of God Church with Reverend Travis George officiating. Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. at Lone Tree Cemetery at Stuttgart. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., prior to service time at the church. Pallbearers are Ray Lunsford, Rodney Mines, Roger Leopard, James White, Bobby Mac Kimbrell and Jimmy Peden. Arrangements are under the direction of Buie Funeral Home of Rison (870) 325-6216.
