David Herrington

David Wayne Herrington age 44, of Monticello, died Thursday, October 29, 2009. He was born January 24, 1965 in Rison, a son of David and Janet Jacobs Herrington of Rison. Mr. Herrington was a 1984 graduate of Rison High School, and a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. He was an employee of the Drew County Road Department. Mr. Herrington was preceded in death by his grandparents James J. Jacobs, Clyde (Butch) and Ginny Herrington.

Mr. Herrington is survived by his parents David and Janet Herrington of Rison; two sons, Dallas Wayne Herrington, Dakota James David Herrington both of Monticello; two stepsons, Dustin Schreiner, J. D. Schreiner both of Benton; two brothers and sister-in-law, Jimmy Clyde Herrington, Joe Carl and Laura Herrington, one sister and brother-in-law Ronda and Javi Holst all of Rison; grandmother, Geneva Jacobs; three nephews, Jake Holst, Josh Herrington, Eli Herrington, two nieces, Samantha Herrington, Tori Herrington; and a host of aunts uncles and cousins

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 1, 2009 at Buie Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jackie Richardson and Brother John Mark Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, October 31, 2009 at Buie Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Larry Herrington, Stanley Herrington, Erwin Herrington, Charles Puckett, Mike McManus, Dale Parks, Brian Standridge, Mike Garrison. Honorary pallbearers are Paul Jacobs, Wayne Herrington, and James Erwin. Memorials may be made to the charity of choice.
