Dave Guffy Jr

Dave Guffy Jr. age 51 of Rison, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016 in Little Rock. He was born July 7, 1965 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to David and Ethel Faye Greenlee Guffy Sr. Dave was employed with Evergreen Packing. On September 10, 2011 he married Jennifer McDaniel in Woodlawn. Dave was a member of Norton Hunting Club and the Woodlawn Fire Department. He was preceded in death by his mother Ethel Faye Spakes in 2015; stepfather, Havis Spakes; brother, B.J. Hoover Sr. and sister, Lisa Couch.

Dave is survived by his wife, Jennifer Guffy of Rison; children, Emily (Blake) Barnes of Sheridan, William Guffy of Sheridan, Stormi (Kendall) Tabor of Sheridan, Stacy (Ben) Wright of Rison, T.J. (Kelsey) Horton of Jefferson, Justin Fraze of Rison; father, David (Mary) Guffy Sr. of Rison; sister, Konnie (Damon) Martin of Alamosa, Colorado; eight grandchildren, Lawson and Greenlee Barnes, Caleb, Levi and Carsynn Tabor, Ethan, Addyson and Holley Wright; two nieces, Lauren Martin and Karla Hoover; three nephews, Tanner Martin, Ben Couch, B.J. Hoover.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison with Brother Donny Hill and Brother Danny Hill officiating. Interment will follow at Rowell Cemetery near Rison. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, November 25, 2016 at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Voy Ray Norton, Paul Reed, Jake Brown, Gene Norton, Dylan James & Ben Wright. Honorary pallbearers are Howard Ray Guffy, Brian Guffy, Jim Guffy, Mike Davis, Jacky Norton and the Woodlawn Fire Department.
