Danny Ray Poss

Danny Ray Poss age 44 of Rison, died Thursday, September 13, 2007 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. He was born December 17, 1962 in Rison, a son of Lelia Inman Poss of Rison and the late Donald Poss. Mr. Poss was a truck driver and attended Cornerstone Church of God.

Mr. Poss is survived by his wife, Tamera Green Poss of Rison, whom he married on April 2, 1984; two sons and daughter-in-law, Timothy Poss of Rison, Shawn and Jamie Murdock of Covington, Louisiana; one daughter and son-in-law, Keri and Jason Farrer of Rison; mother, Lelia Poss of Rison; one brother and sister-in-law, Joe Lee and Becky Poss of Rison; one sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Greg Phillips of Rison; six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p. m Saturday, September 15, 2007 at Trinity Faith Assembly of God Church in Rison with Reverend Jonathan Hall, Reverend Travis George and Reverend Joe Lee Poss officiating. Burial will follow in the Davis Cemetery near Grapevine. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 14, 2007 at the church. Pallbearers are Bob Woods, Sam Avants, Carl Bowlings, Billy Blackmon, Robert Batson, Dave LeMaster and Don Kennedy. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
