Danny Mack Higgs, age 72, of Vilonia, passed away Saturday, May 8th, 2021, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.
Danny was born on December 25, 1948, in Heber Springs, Arkansas to Vernon and Kathleen Higgs. He was employed with SCN Incorporated as a Machinist and worked there until his retirement in 2016. He enjoyed geneology, site seeing and big foot hunting.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 24 years, Betty Higgs of Vilonia; his mother, Kathleen Higgs of Evansville, Indiana; three daughters, Shannon Higgs of Richmond, Indiana; Heather Turner of Indianapolis, Indiana; Anita Cotton (Danny) of Bauxite, Arkansas; two sons, Danny Higgs (Brittany) of Centerville, Indiana; Jeremy Sumler of Benton, Arkansas; one sister, Elaine Sgorcea of Hendersonville, Kentucky; three brothers, Richard Higgs of Tulsa; Oklahoma; Mike Higgs of Jacksonville, Arkansas; Tim Higgs of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
He was proceded in death by his father.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, May 14th, 2021, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Vilonia Funeral Home Chapel 1134 Main Street Vilonia, Arkansas 72173. Graveside Services will follow the visitation at 11:00 am in Vilonia Cemetery with Mike Higgs officiating. Pallbearers for the service are Danny Higgs, Zach Higgs, Danny Cotton, Kaleb Cotton, Aaron Higgs, Paul Spradlin
