Daniel Edward Owens, age 66, of Conway, Arkansas passed away Thursday, July 28th, 2022.
He was born March 13, 1956 in Witchita, Kansas to Major 'Buddy" Owens and Alpha Owens. He was a Christian in the Assembly of God faith, he worked as an automobile mechanic and tow truck driver for his dad and also for Capital City Motors in Little Rock. He also enjoyed working on lawn mowers and working on carburator's.
He is survived by his brother, Paul Owens and wife, Elaine of Little Rock sister, Reba Owens of Conway; two sister-in-laws, Marie Owens and Larry Loyd of Conway; Jolene Fullen of Bauxite; brother-in-law, Lewis Wayne Pearce, Sr. as well as extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Owens; his parents, Major Buddy and Alpha Owens; three brothers, Jimmy Williford; Michael D. Owens; Tommy Owens; and one sister, Vickey Sue Pearce.
A graveside service will be held Monday, August 1, 2022, at 10:00 am in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Wooster, Arkansas.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at St. Andrews Nursing Home and The Springs Nursing Home in Searcy for their special care of Daniel.
