Cynthia Oglesby

Cynthia Oglesby, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away peacefully on November 4, 2024, at the age of 73. Born on September 16, 1951, Cynthia lived a life rich in love, creativity, and laughter, leaving behind memories that will forever warm the hearts of those who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Oglesby.

Cynthia held a profound passion for crafting and crochet, she found joy in creating pieces that brightened the lives of her loved ones, cherishing the time spent sharing her hobbies.

Cynthia is survived by her children, Jennifer Hopper (Tim), Chris Pierce, Jamie Copelin (LaDon), Misty Harwood (Billy), Jody Doss (Joshua), Katie Key (Moe), Michael Oglesby, and Kim Oglesby, many precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren, siblings, Geraldine James (Bobby) and Bryce Brower (Susan). 

A memorial service in her honor will be held on November 7, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Baker Rock Church in Wickes, Arkansas. Friends, family, and loved ones are invited to gather, to share stories, and to celebrate the beautiful life Cynthia lived — a life that touched so many and will continue to shine in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

As we remember Cynthia Oglesby, we hold onto the love she freely gave and the warmth she fostered in every interaction. She will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered in the fond memories we cherish and the lives she shaped in her remarkable journey.
