Cynthia Gail (Phillips) Beatty

Cynthia Gail Beatty, age 67, of Rison, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family
on October 27, 2022. She was born February 24, 1955 in Rison, AR to the late Clyde Phillips and
Louise Beck. Cindy retired from the Pine Bluff Post Office. She enjoyed gardening and the
beauty of the flowers that surrounded her, feeding her hummingbirds, taking care of her
chickens and goats, being Nana to her grandchildren, shopping with Ruth Ann, and spending
time with family and friends. Kenny and Cindy had just celebrated their 50 th wedding
anniversary on October 6 th . She will be truly missed. In addition to her parents, she was
preceded in death by her brother, Ronnie Phillips, sister-in-law, Kaye Phillips, and brother-in-
law, Jack Hendricks.

She is survived by her loving husband, Kenny Beatty; children, Kevin Beatty (Celeste) of Rison,
and Stacy Minnix (Mike) of Benton; grandchildren, Jordan Ford of Little Rock, Dakota Beatty of
Sheridan, and Hunter and Nathan Rice of Rison; one sister, Vanita Hendricks and one brother,
Roger Phillips; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 6:00 p.m., November 3, 2022 at Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
