Curtis Marks Sr

Curtis Marks Sr., age 69 of Rison, died, Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. He was born October 28, 1941 in Rison, a son of the late Harvey Marks and Margaret Flannagan Marks. Mr. Marks was a member of Greater Faith Church of God in Christ. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, J. T. Marks and Tommy Lee Marks.

Mr. Marks is survived by his wife, Diane Richardson Marks of Rison; four sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Tamiko Gray of Flint, Michigan, Curtis and Tammy Marks, Kevin Marks, Marcus Marks and Shundrea McCloud, all of Rison; three daughters and sons-in-law, Felisa and Veotis Wainwright, Janet and Charles Wells, Tina Gray and Jim Rauls, all of Rison; step daughter, Pam Richardson of Rison; nineteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services are 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Union Hill Baptist Church with Minister Thomas Young officiating. Burial will follow in Humble Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 11, 2011 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison. Pallbearers are Ronald Martin, John Reeves Jr., Demorse McCloud, Ernest Frye, James L. Gray, Archie McGhee, Johnny Johnson, Wayne Wells, Travis Rauls, and David Ballard.Honorary Pallbearers are Curtis Marks Jr., Kevin McCleod, Marcus Marks, Charles Wells, Veotis Wainwright, Jim Rauls, and Michael Gray.
