Clyde Sheridan

Clyde Sheridan, 70, of Sheridan, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2015, at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock. Mr. Sheridan was born September 4, 1944, in Pine Bluff, a son of the late Marion Lafayette and Velma Louise Harris Sheridan. He was reared and received his education in Sheridan. He married Barbara Givens on September 13, 1963, in Sheridan. Mr. Sheridan was a self employed mechanic for many years. His favorite past times were hunting, fishing, and racing cars. Mr. Sheridan is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Barbara Sheridan of Sheridan; son, Bobby Lee (Kim) Sheridan; five daughters, Patricia Melton of Heth, Arkansas, Sheila (Marty) Wells of Lonsdale, Arkansas, Kelly (Ray) Smith of Forrest City, Arkansas, Terri (Fred) Lee of Sheridan, Wendy (Virgil) Smith of Wynn, Arkansas, brother, Eddie Sheridan of Sheridan; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a son-in-law, Harland Melton of Heth, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Dennis Sheridan, brother, J. W. Sheridan, and a sister, Peggy Boyd. A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for Tuesday, March 10, 2015, 2:00 PM, in the Chapel of Buie Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Williams officiating.
