Clyde Robert Holloway, 89, of Searcy, passed away January 13, 2020 at the Veteran’s Hospital in Little Rock. He was born August 17, 1930 in Lajunita, Colorado to the late Walter and Anna Mae Tyson Holloway.
Mr. Holloway was drafted into the US Army and was employed with The Capitol Journal in Topeka, Kansas from 1968 to his retirement in 1992.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Robert Holloway; two stepsons, Ron and Craig Staley; as well as eleven siblings.
He married Mary Anne O’Connell Holloway May 9, 1994 at Topeka, Kansas who survives. He is also survived by two sons, Ron Holloway (Kathrine) of Topeka and Allen Holloway (Cathy) of Wichita, Kansas; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, Marjorie Holloway and Linda Holloway as well as his beloved four-legged friend, Benji.
The family will have a memorial service 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 2, 2020 at West Side Church of Christ in Searcy.
