Clara Mae Walker

Clara Mae Walker, age 85, of Sheridan passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017 at her home. She was born July 2, 1932 in Leola, to the late Lynn and Delphy Jane Lemons Perser. Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lee Roy Glover; two sons, Ray Basil Glover and David Lee Glover; and three brothers, Basil, J.D., and Fate Perser.

Left to cherish her memory, son, Bobby Glover of Sheridan; daughters, Diane Rabb of Fordyce, Sharon (Rick) Manuel of Pine Bluff, Bonnie Vaughn of Sheridan, and Carolyn (David) Huneycutt of Springfield, Missouri; sister, Joycie Warnix of Leola; seventeen grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan with Mark Glover officiating. Interment will follow at Cross Roads Cemetery in Kingsland. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Pallbearers are Mike Glover, Jeremy Huneycutt, Chris Greenwood, Clay Stubbs, Carey Stubbs, and Jason Huneycutt. Honorary pallbearers are Tim Stubbs, Terry Paul Greenwood, Toney Faulkner, and Chad Greenwood. Arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan. (870) 942-3231.
